Home Bolder Lists, Smarter Timesheets

Bolder Lists, Smarter Timesheets

A small update with an outsized effect on two of the app’s most-used corners: your lists, and your weekly timesheet.

Lists

Three changes that make individual list items easier to read at a glance, plus one quiet fix so new items behave the way you’d expect.

Bold, right from the details panel

Open any list item’s details and there’s a new “Bold this list item” toggle sitting above the color picker. Flip it on and the item’s text goes bold immediately, right there in the list. It’s a fast way to make the one thing that actually matters today stand out from everything else on the list.

Five colors to sort by eye

The same details panel now has a small row of soft color swatches that tint the whole list item’s background. What each color means is entirely up to you — priority, category, or just a way to make a forty-item list scannable in half a second.

Real formatting for item notes

The plain textarea for a list item’s notes is now the same rich text editor already powering Zindash’s notes — bold, italic, links, lists, and a proper Normal Text / Heading / Subheading picker for structuring longer entries. If a list item has quietly grown a small essay’s worth of context, it can finally look like one.

Also fixed

New list items now show their text at the top of the details pane the moment you open it. Previously it could show up blank until you clicked away and back.

Schedule

A faster path from hours worked to hours reported. Two additions to the tag timesheet view, aimed squarely at the part of the week nobody looks forward to: turning tracked time into something you can send someone.

Filter by what the event actually says

Alongside the existing date range, the timesheet popup now has a word filter field. Type anything and the table narrows to events whose title or notes contain it. This is particularly useful when a tag covers more ground than one project and you only need the hours tied to a specific client or task.

Export exactly what’s on screen

Two new links sit under the filter: Download CSV File and Download PDF File. Both export precisely what the table is showing at that moment, the same date range, same word filter, same rows, so narrowing things down first and exporting second gets you exactly the report you meant to send, whether that’s a CSV for your own records or a clean PDF for someone else’s inbox.

That’s the full list for this release. As always, we’d love to hear what you think, and what we should work on next.
